We are pleased to announce our office is expanding in the Fraser building! We will be taking over the suite next door. Renovations will be starting soon; we hope to have this project completed by the Fall. Stay connected with us on Social Media we will be posting photos and updates. Along with our clinical expansion, Dr. Ana Keohane has recently joined our team and will be performing General and Pediatric services. We are also now open on Saturdays; call to book your initial visit with us!
Carol and Telma our dental hygienists recently completed an iTERO Element/Invisalign training course. The iTERO Element provides accurate digital documentation of both hard and soft tissue changes such as gingival recession, tooth wear and tooth movement. We have incorporated these digital scans into our patient’s routine dental visits, this way we can monitor our patient’s oral changes over time. We have the ability to visually show our patients and address our concerns as they arise. The course was taught to educate and ensure that we are utilizing our iTERO Element efficiently to deliver the best comprehensive care to our patients.
4 Tips for a Healthier Smile
Brush and Floss daily- We recommend brushing your teeth for at least two minutes per day, with either an electric or manual soft bristled toothbrush. Brushing and flossing will help fight plaque buildup.
Visit your dentist & hygienist routinely- Routine dental hygiene visit and periodic exams are key to maintaining happy and healthy teeth. We recommend our patients to come in at least once every 6 months. Our patients with periodontal disease (gum disease) we recommend coming in every three months.
Eat Healthy- Our diets play a major role in our overall oral health. Try to avoid sugary food as well as drinks. Eating and drinking to many foods with sugar can cause caries and decay.
Don’t wait until you’re in pain to visit your dentist- Often times patients wait until they are experiencing a problem to visit there dentist. Also please remember gum disease and caries do not always cause pain, visiting us routinely will allow us to monitor your oral health care.
Thank you to all our patients for your continued support and feedback, check out some of our most recent reviews!
1. 11 years ago she give me my beautiful smile and I still have it, excellent team- Jill A
2. Dr. Cardenas is probably the first dentist I’ve seen that I trust. From my initial consultation to my first exam, and throughout treatments, she’s been very transparent. Not only with her expert recommendations, but also the fees that might be involved (which may not be a concern for some, but is for me). She’s as kind and personable as she is beautiful, and her staff is a direct reflection of her- kind and personable. I’m always greeted with a smile and take comfort in knowing I’m being taken care of. Do yourself a favor, and see her! – Lauren S
3. I have so many wonderful things to say about Dr Cardenas and her team that I don’t know where to start. Dr Cardenas was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so thankful for it. I have been truly taken aback by the level of care and attention to detail at each appointment. The entire team are not only incredibly professional and talented, but so friendly and genuinely caring. It feels as if nothing is too much to ask, and i trust implicitly in the treatment plan prepared for me. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr Cardenas and her practice to anyone, they really are at the top of their field.–Katy P
