Before you decide to pursue online “do it yourself” orthodontics ask that you consider these questions below, and do your research online.

• Are comprehensive diagnostic records taken? (x-rays, comprehensive exam)
• How do you know if your teeth or gums are healthy enough for orthodontic treatment?
• What are the possible risks associated with your orthodontic treatment?
• As part of your treatment, do you receive any in office visits to a dentists or orthodontist office?
• Who is responsible for detecting any issues that may occur during your treatment?
• If a dentist is involved do you have their contact information? (Name, phone number, email)
• If an emergency arises, does the company have a dentist in your area whom you can see?
• Are you asked to sign any forms that seek to release the company from liability?
