We're back!

Dear Patients,

Finally the day has come! Governor Baker and the MA department of public health have announced guidelines for reopening our state. Phase 1 includes an increase in allowable dental procedures for those providers who are able to meet public health and safety standards in the domains of workforce safety, patient safety, and infection control.

We have been working really hard over the past eight weeks to be ready for this day. We are excited to inform you all that our first day seeing patients will be next Tuesday, May 26th.   Dr. Cardenas has increased her time in the office and will be here to help you on the following days:

Tuesdays: 8:00am-5:00pm

Thursdays: 9:00am -7:00pm

Now Available Every Friday:  9:00am-5:00pm

Saturdays: 8:00am -5:00pm  (Dr. Ana for Pediatric and General Dentistry)

Dr. Morin will continue her regular Tuesday schedule for implant and periodontal surgical procedures.

While we are doing everything in our power to protect you, we also ask for your co-operation in making our office environment a safe one. During phase 1 we request that you wear a mask upon arrival.  If you have a cough, fever, or chills, please call our office prior to attending your appointment. If you have traveled overseas in the last 14 days we ask that you call us to reschedule.

Biosafety and Infection control:

When you come in to see us for future visits you’ll notice a few changes that we’ve put in place to protect you and our team. Attached is the first of a series of videos to outline your journey. (Click Photo Above) We truly believe these extra steps will provide the safest and most comfortable environment for you!

We described the following on our previous letter, as a friendly reminder, we've also added:

  1. Air Purifying system:  A medical grade purifying system with the capacity to clean our air in the entire facility! I believe this is the most advanced system available in the market for medical- dental offices, it uses a six stage filtration system that filters particulates and allergens out of the air, kills bacteria, viruses, mold and fungi. These filters meet the guidelines for surgery applications.

  2. Aspirators (vacuum systems): Additional aspirators will be available to use on all Aerosol producing procedures.

  3. Hand Sanitizer Stations: We have added hand sanitizers throughout the office and will be encouraging our patients to hand sanitize upon arrival and at the end of their visit.

  4. New Sterilization Center:  As part of our grand renovation, we've installed new, top of the line sterilization equipment and cabinetry.

  5. Virtual consultation and Remote Clinical monitoring: We have added a new remote monitoring platform that uses Artificial Intelligence to help new and existing patients. We will be able to guide you remotely when necessary with this new technology.

Once again, we miss seeing your happy faces and are looking forward to welcoming you back again very soon. The practice may need to operate slightly differently (and we may look slightly different in our PPE!) when we return, but we are the same team you have come to know.

“WE WANT TO EMPOWER OUR PATIENTS TO SMILE MORE, DREAM MORE, CONNECT MORE AND INSPIRE OTHERS” Dr. Maria Cardenas
