Why Periodic Hygiene Visits?

Posted on: October 18th, 2018 | Categories: Blog

We recommend you visit our office at least twice a year for your routine dental hygiene and dental health review. There is strong clinical research that links periodontal (gum) disease to more serious systemic issues such as diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis and even cancer.

The benefits of attending regularly are:

  • We can check your dental health and identify any potential problems that might cause future discomfort if left unattended
  • We can answer any concerns or problems that may have arisen since your last visit
  • We can give your teeth an overall clean and polish
  • We can help you keep a lovely smile for life!

As we approach the end of the year, you might want to schedule your routine visit if you haven’t already. This will ensure that you will be receiving the most out of your dental benefits.

You can call us 781-235-1900 or send us an email info@mariacardenasDMD.com to make an appointment. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
