Kate came to our Wellesley clinic from Dover, MA, seeking a solution for long-standing cosmetic concerns. She had noticeable white spotting on her teeth from developmental enamel defects resembling enamel hypoplasia. Over the years, she tried composite patches to camouflage the white spots, but these turned yellow and uneven, leaving her with a mix of white blotches and yellow patches that no longer looked natural. Upon diagnostics, we also confirmed that her upper lateral incisors were proportionally too small — a condition known as tooth size discrepancy (Bolton discrepancy).

Her bite was stable enough to proceed directly with cosmetic treatment, and together we designed a plan to restore balance, brightness, and natural proportions to her smile, prioritizing her upper arch first.
