Larry

Larry was referred to our Wellesley clinic by a close family member who has been a loyal patient of our practice. When he first came to us, he admitted that he had neglected his teeth for decades and was ready to finally address his oral health. On examination, we found hopeless and fractured teeth, advanced decay, infection, excessive tooth wear with nerve involvement, sensitivity, and advanced gum inflammation. Functionally, he had bite collapse, loss of vertical dimension, and an uneven, traumatic anterior bite. His teeth were also yellow and heavily stained.

After completing our signature diagnostic protocols, we designed a comprehensive full mouth reconstruction for both the upper and lower arches — a carefully staged plan with the goal of restoring health, function, and long-term predictability.

    • Single posterior implants to replace missing molars
    • Combination of porcelain crowns for posterior teeth and porcelain veneers for anterior teeth — all crafted by our in-house Master Ceramist
    • Root canal therapy on selected teeth with advanced decay to preserve structure before restoration
  • Custom occlusal night guard to protect porcelain and manage parafunctional grinding
  • Lower clear retainer with back-up duplicate to maintain stability
  • Periodic occlusal guard and retainer checks at every hygiene visit
  • Maintenance: Airflow® hygiene visits and comprehensive exams every 3–4 months
