I think we can all agree that we are facing some level of Stress and/or trauma during this COVID-19 Pandemia.
Most of us are very focused on being good parents, continue to run our businesses and keeping up with all the work required to run a house. There is plenty of research that shows that in order to be able to care for others. We must take care of ourselves.
This week we had “Wellness Wednesday” at our house. A great initiative presented by our school district. Although It was difficult to get all five of us together and ready to practice at the same time, We managed, throughout the day, to get to the guide, reflect and practice a few activities that would focus on Self Care, Time Management and Mindfulness.
Wellness Wednesday inspired my blog post this morning. I am attaching links to some of the resources that helped us. Hope it helps!
Last night, the five of us set up a daily schedule that would include family and personal activities to take care of ourselves, to then be able to help each other. We will try to prioritize on these activities and see the end result after a few days.
Try to find something to do that brings you Joy and an activity that helps you re focus. I am going for a run with my friend Jill this morning and will try another 5 min family mediation technique after dinner from the guide bellow. I also love Yoga so I am planning on taking a Live remote yoga class from my friend Sandy.
